Co-investments by the two firms have included: American Medical Systems, ev3 Inc., Kyphon Inc., Spinecore (acquired by Stryker Corporation in 2004), Wright Medical Group, and Xomed Surgical Products Inc. (acquired by Medtronic in 1999).
