Titanium Suture Implants

Tornier Titanium Suture Implants offer extraordinary strength and remarkable efficiency. Designed specifically for soft tissue-to-bone repair, Tornier Titanium Suture Implants feature reinforced drivers with laser-marked depth indicators, laser-marked eyelet indicators for precise orientation, and suture protection tabs to increase torque and prevent damage to sutures during insertion. Available preloaded with #2 Force Fiber® suture in 3mm, 5mm, and 6.5mm diameters.

Bone Compacting Threads (5mm and 6.5mm)
  • Bone is compacted longitudinally and horizontally with a tapered diameter in combination with an increasing thread thickness.
Individual Suture Eyelets

  • Allow both suture strands to be aligned in the same direction without locking.
Self-Tapping Thread Design (5mm and 6.5mm)
  • Allows for quicker start in bone — no need to tap, pre-drill, or punch.

Bioabsorbable Suture Implants

Created especially for soft tissue-to-bone repair, Tornier Bioabsorbable Suture Implants are made from non-metallic, non-reflective, radiolucent bioabsorbable Poly (L-lactide). They will not appear on an X-ray or CT nor interfere with an MRI, and include laser-marked depth indicators, laser-marked eyelet indicators for incredible precision, and suture protection tabs to prevent damage to sutures during insertion. Available preloaded with #2 Force Fiber® suture in 3mm, 5mm, and 6.5mm diameters.

Polymer Suture Implants

Tornier’s new Polymer Suture Implants meet the needs of cost-conscious surgeons without sacrificing quality. The Polymer Suture Implants offer biocompatibility and biostability, along with X-ray and CT translucency and MRI compatibility. With superior pull-out strength, Tornier Polymer Suture Implants can be used instead of metal or bioabsorbable implants in a variety of shoulder surgeries, including rotator cuff repair.
